Good News from Ad-Revenue-Land

Several weeks ago I beamed proudly at my mom the earth-shaking news that I had earned my first penny from Ads on Google AdSense. My account balance reflected the monumentous achievement with a hearty "$0.01" balance.

I have mind-blowing news.

In a single day, (one that would have otherwise contained no other rays of sunshine), April 3 of 2008, my account balance skyrocketed to $1.07. In what represents a 107% increase in revenue for my efforts, I find great hope. I've never attempted to harvest the beau-coups traffic I've generated in the past. My site statistics have always been evidence that my contract-based project was meeting its goals. Never was it an un-harvested opportunity to trickle change down the get-rich-slow funnel.

But no more, dear friends. No more.

I have monetized the Internet.
